US 60/65 Interchange Springfield, Missouri

The construction of the US 60/65 interchange in southeast Springfield, begun in May 2009, is scheduled for completion in the fall of 2012.

The complex, $57 million-plus project includes replacing two cloverleaf loop ramps with directional "flyover" ramps.  Bridges will be built on US 60 over the railroad tracks just west of US 65. Other bridges on US 65 over US 60 and on US 60 over Lake Springfield will be replaced or rebuilt.
